The QYSEA FIFISH E-MASTER is a compact industrial ROV (Remotely Operated Vehicle) unveiled by QYSEA on January 21, 2025. Unlike small underwater drones such as the CHASING Dory, the E-MASTER was designed primarily for professional tasks rather than recreation—specifically for inspecting piers, vessels, pipelines, tanks, underwater structures, and the seabed.
The vehicle's key feature is its combination of a camera, sonars, motion sensors, and software. An operator controls the ROV from the surface via a cable, while images and data are transmitted in real time. At the same time, the E-MASTER is capable of performing some operations automatically.
For example, the U-INS system uses sensor data and navigation algorithms to determine the vehicle's position, heading, and movement. Users can plan routes in advance, record points of interest, and utilize an automatic return function. Two Q-DVL units—Doppler velocity logs for measuring speed relative to the seabed—are used for station-keeping. According to the manufacturer, the system is designed to operate in currents of up to 3 knots.

Measurement represents a distinct area of application. The QY-MT software system enables the measurement of underwater objects and damage, both in real time and post-survey. For seabed surveys, the QY-BT system is used to generate 2D and 3D maps containing depth data.
E-MASTER has also been equipped with artificial intelligence capabilities. The AI Diver Tracking system is capable of recognizing and tracking a diver within the frame. Image enhancement algorithms help reduce the effects of murky water and suspended particles. This is particularly important when operating in conditions of limited underwater visibility.
The camera features a 1/1.8-inch sensor, supports 4K UHD and RAW recording, and provides an underwater field of view of up to 146° . The LED system delivers up to 10,000 lumens , enabling the robot to capture images even in dark water. The minimum focusing distance is rated at 10 cm.
The maximum operating depth of the E-MASTER is 200 meters . By comparison, the standard CHASING Dory is rated for only 15 meters. Additionally, the E-MASTER is capable of speeds exceeding 3 knots—approximately 5.6 km/h .

Can it be bought in Europe?
Yes, QYSEA officially works with European dealers. The company's list of authorized sellers includes the UK and Ireland, Spain, France, Germany, Italy, Austria, Norway, Sweden, Portugal, Poland, Finland, Greece, the Netherlands, Lithuania, and other European markets.
However, there is an important distinction: the E-MASTER is not a mass-market consumer product, so it is not featured on QYSEA’s European website in the same way as the simpler FIFISH V-EVO. The manufacturer recommends contacting the company or its dealers to determine the appropriate configuration.
