DJI has released the new Lito 1 and X1 drones, featuring 4K HDR video recording, for beginner users.

DJI has announced the Lito drone series, designed for beginners. The series comprises two models that differ primarily in their camera capabilities. Prices in Europe start at 350 euros.

The more powerful Lito X1 model features a 1/1.3-inch CMOS sensor with 48MP resolution and an f/1.7 aperture. The camera is capable of recording video at 4K/60 fps and supports a 4K/100 fps mode for slow-motion footage. It also offers vertical shooting at 2.7K resolution, 10-bit color recording with the D-Log M profile, and an HDR mode with a dynamic range of up to 14 stops.

The Lito 1 model is equipped with a smaller 1/2-inch sensor, yet it also features 48MP resolution and an f/1.8 aperture. Video recording is available in 4K/60fps and 4K/100fps formats, though without HDR support.

Both drones are equipped with a LiDAR system that assists with flights in challenging conditions and low-light environments. They feature a comprehensive obstacle detection system, three-axis camera stabilization, and the ActiveTrack object-tracking function.

Both models weigh 249 grams. DJI states that the drones operate for up to 36 minutes on a single charge, or up to 52 minutes with the extended-capacity battery. The signal transmission range reaches 15 km.

The high-end Lito X1 version features 42 GB of built-in memory, whereas the entry-level Lito 1 model requires a memory card.

In Europe, the Lito X1 basic kit with the RC-N3 remote controller will cost 430 euros. The full package, including the DJI RC 2 controller and additional accessories, will cost around 770 euros. Meanwhile, the basic version of the Lito 1 will cost 350 euros.

In late March, DJI also released the Avata 360 FPV drone, featuring a 360-degree field of view and 8K video recording capabilities. Prices start at 720 euros.
