The developers of OsmAnd have released version 5.4 of their navigation app for smartphones. The update was first released for iPhone and iPad on September 3, and became available for Android on September 4.

One of the key changes is the updated search for places and locations on the map. It has become easier for users to find the points they need, thanks in part to category filters.

The new version also introduces additional features for managing saved places. You can add photos and other media files to them, making it easier to keep track of points of interest, parking spots, routes, or locations you want to visit later.

The developers have also updated certain elements of the app's interface. At the same time, OsmAnd retains one of its key features: offline map support. Maps can be downloaded to the smartphone in advance, allowing for navigation without a constant internet connection.

This update is of particular interest to those who travel frequently, take trips out of town, or want navigation with maps available even without a mobile internet connection.
