The European market for personal electric transport and commercial delivery vehicles has welcomed a new model: the TYCORUN S690 electric scooter from Guangdong Tycorun Energy. Designed to meet European environmental and safety standards, this new model offers a reliable solution for both "last-mile" delivery services and daily urban commuting.
The model has undergone mandatory EEC (European Emission Standard) certification, allowing it to be legally registered in European Union countries (category L1e / L3e).
Key features and powertrain
The TYCORUN S690 is equipped with a brushless (BLDC) hub motor featuring a rated power of 1,500 W and a peak output of up to 2,000 W. The powertrain ensures dynamic acceleration in heavy city traffic and allows the scooter to easily tackle inclines of up to 18°. To comply with EU traffic regulations, the top speed is limited to 45 km/h (in the standard L1e version).
The chassis design features a robust steel frame, a front hydraulic telescopic fork, and dual rear spring-hydraulic shock absorbers. Hydraulic disc brakes on both wheels ensure safe stopping.
Battery, charging, and range
The main advantage of the TYCORUN S690 is its flexible power supply system featuring quick-release lithium-ion batteries (with an average lifespan of over 1,000 deep-discharge cycles).
Two charging scenarios are available to users:
Direct charging from a household power outlet: The battery pack is easily removed from the under-seat compartment and plugged into a standard European 220 V socket.
Fast charging and battery swapping: The scooter supports charging at currents of up to 10A, reducing the time required to charge from 0% to 100% to 3.5–4 hours. Within an infrastructure featuring proprietary Tycorun battery-swapping stations, a depleted battery can be exchanged for a charged one in just one minute.
